Backlit Process
In the manufacturing process our ABC (Awesome Backlit Color) backlit flex face, Indy Imaging prints a multi-layer art file with 3M SuperRange Ink. The file is made of three layers. The 1st layer is the image, the 2nd layer is white and the third layer is the image. The three layers are printed simultaneously in one print pass. Printing white between two layers of the image greatly improves the day-and-night appearance of the backlit. The results are colors that really pop at night while remaining rich and vibrant during the day. We then apply a UV clear coat for added protection.
